PINCH POWER HALF

Instructional Video: Pinch Power Half

Pinch Power Half

Anyone who has wrestled with me in the past knows that my weakest position is top. I’ve always envied guys like former teammate Ray Hanley for how simple they made riding, turning, and pinning opponent’s look. It goes to show that six months after I started this blog I am finally posting my first instructional video from the top position.

I made up the name of pinch power half because I don’t know what else to call it. Someone else probably uses this move too, but I’ve never seen it. It was my one consistent and effective pinning combination throughout my career. It’s nice to be able to score falls for your team when you need to. The pinch power half is a move that can really help you accomplish that goal. Give it a shot and see if it works for you.

Thanks to Kevin for the video commentary.

I like the move and I like the name, I’ll have to give this a try, it looks promising. I’ll be sure to return with my results! Thanks again Michael.

Hi Paul, just a quick note to say I’ve been really enjoying your new blog since hearing about it at last we#e2k8&17;s IPA event. If you keep posting I promise to buy the book when it’s released!
